Our Team

Our therapy team boasts over 50 years of combined experience in outpatient musculoskeletal care.  While we each have our own unique interests in outpatient therapy, we are committed to providing you with consistently excellent care, based on the best available clinical knowledge.

Kimberly Gallagher, MPT

Kim received a Master of Physical Therapy degree from Drexel University School of Medicine in Philadelphia in 2001.  She has practiced in multiple settings, including acute inpatient rehabilitation, home care, outpatient rehabilitation, and skilled nursing.  Kim is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association including the Maine Chapter and the Private Practice Section.  She has obtained credentialing as in advanced vestibular rehabiliation through Emory University and the American Physical Therapy Association. She is also certified as an LSVT BIG certified clinician.

Samuel Powell, DPT

Sam obtained his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of New England in 2011.  Prior to joining Continuum in the fall of 2012, Sam worked in outpatient orthopedic practice in Colorado Springs, CO.  Sam is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Orthopedic Section. Sam is planning to achieve credentialing in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, as well as Mulligan Concept techniques. He has been trained in Trigger Point Dry Needling and has been using this technique since 2015. He also has a strong interest in prevention and treatment of athletic injuries. He enjoys working with local athletes to rehab injuries and prevent recurrence of injuries.

Mark Lewis, MPT

Mark joined our practice in August of 2015 after serving as clinical director and lead Physical Therapist for 13 years at Downeast Rehabilitation Associates in Rockport, ME. Mark brings over 16 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, with interests in manual therapy, various taping techniques, exercise, and Trigger Point Dry Needling. Mark also established an outpatient PT clinic on Islesboro which he maintains weekly. Originally from Connecticut and raised here in Rockland, Mark received his Masters Degree from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia, and worked in outpatient and inpatient clinics in both Hagerstown and Frederick Maryland, before coming home in 2002.  Mark is an avid musician who is a member of several community musical organizations, enjoys hiking, and is obsessed with all things from Scotland and New Orleans.

Jessica Daggett, PTA

Jessica joined our practice in the spring of 2013 and brings with her a wealth of experience in outpatient orthopedic Physical Therapy practice.  As a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, Jessica received her degree from Kennebec Valley Community College in 2000.  Jessica has a strong interest in manual therapy and exercise, having studied multiple techniques, including Mulligan Concept, Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, Muscle Energy Technique, and Strain/Counterstrain.  Jessica is also ACE-certified as a personal trainer and has significant expertise in developing both therapeutic and performance fitness programs.

Dominique Woodward, PTA

Dominique joined our practice in the spring of 2016, bringing with her an abundance of experience in both outpatient rehabilitation and skilled nursing. As a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, Dominique received her degree from South University in West Palm Beach, Florida in 2004. Dominique has strong interests in balance training, post-op knee/hip replacement, Post-0p shoulder rehabilitation, and spine care. She recently became certified as an LSVT BIG clinician. In her free time, Dominique enjoys reading, exploring New England with her husband and English Bulldog, and is a novice gardener.

Michael Castonguay, DPT

Mike is a Maine native who has returned back to the state after earning his doctorate of physical therapy degree from Springfield College. He enjoys working in a community setting where he is able to treat individuals of all ages and with all types of musculoskeletal injuries and impairments. As a clinician, he utilizes a manual therapy approach with his patients. Mike is looking forward to furthering his clinical experience and expertise with continuing education courses focused on Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, Trigger Point Dry Needling, and Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue techniques.

Krista Goulet, DPT

Krista is a Maine Native and recent DPT graduate from Husson University in Bangor, Maine. She has recently settled in the Thomaston area. She is very Passionate about health & wellness, and loves participating in outdoor activities including hiking, kayaking, running, and biking. She enjoys treating patients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, and working to promote injury prevention. She is looking forward to expanding her skill set with with future specialization in functional dry needling, women’s health and sports rehab.

Linda Knight, Intake Coordinator

Linda Knight joined our practice as Office Coordinator in August 2010.  She worked in computer support for 18 years, the last 15 of which were for the local school district.  Unless she’s scheduling a patient or watering the plants, hers is one of the voices you will hear when you call.

Jody Anderson, Physical Therapy Aide

Jody joined Continuum in September of 2015. Jody served as Physical Therapy Aide at Downeast Rehabilitation Associates in Rockport, ME, prior to joining our practice. Jody graduated from the University of Maine Augusta with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and a certificate in Gerontology. Hailing from Knox County, Jody brings years of customer service experience and a very warm smile.
